Releasing Past Negativity With Subliminal Audios

It can be a very large and nagging problem to carry around your past emotional negativity and other issues that have lingered with you for some time.
No one wants to carry their issues around long term, but few are seriously willing to put in a tiny bit of effort in order to firmly and finally release that internal tension and frustration.
It's not that people are not willing to change, but it is not an easy thing to start up. Wanting to change is a very internally dramatic and drastic thing that far too many are not willing to embody within their own lives.
It can also be a very hesitant experience to know that you have to change, but not understand what you need to do or use in order to get the results that you want. This is already about a very sensitive and almost untouchable topic, because our emotions tend to be who we are and if we direct our efforts to changing anything about that it might be a little discomforting.
We cannot be scared of change though, and that's where the main thrust of effort needs to be aimed because we can't easily see staying the same long term and there is something we can do to change all of that.
It is not that subliminals are so uncommon to use, but it is a thing that is so infrequently spoken about that our lives and emotions are not used to feeling such jarring change.
This is about diving into who we truly are and doing something about our past issues that hold us back from understanding ourselves more completely.
This is also about not holding back on ourselves and knowing that we can always grow our lives and change in ways that most people never thought was remotely possible. All of that can happen over time with the use of subliminals but we have to be mentally and emotionally open to that change.
If change was as easy as listening to some sound tracks for several hours a day, it might be argued that more people would already be doing it. Though we have to consider that because this is causing real change, most people would not be so confident to try.
As with anything else that can create deep and lasting change, we have to accept and acknowledge that our minds and lives can be completely better. We just have to be open and honest about how everything unravels over time as we discover more of who we truly are.

Emerging Corporate and Business Communication Trends in 2018-2019

Communication is the base of business. One of the most fundamental elements encompassing customers, partners, employees - both on site and remote, and any number of others that a business must stay in touch with - 24/7. add to that the way the modern world works. Not just communicating with their clients or customers base, being able to support efficient remote team collaboration will enable businesses to increase scale of operations, open up functional new branches, tap into new client demographics, and expand their sphere of activity globally.
A few years ago, the introduction of IP telephony was seen as a huge leap in the field of business communications. Today, technologies have moved so far ahead that people located hundreds of thousands of kilometers from each other can feel like they are sitting in the same room. There has been a massive growth in software as a service (SaaS) including SD-WAN, Unified Communications, etc, and it seems like a growing tide. While the past was about picking up a phone to make and receive calls, the current technology even behind that has changed enormously. In the case of business communications, as in any other field, there has been enormous transformation as more and more organizations have become heavily reliant on their internet connections to talk to customers, suppliers, partners, and employees.
Keeping up with current industry trends has always been important in order to stay relevant. As technology evolves at an exponential rate, businesses and professionals need to prepare in order to maintain their competitive edge. It appears, year after year, as if newer and better technologies are being introduced continuously. Each new technology promises more efficient communication than ever before.
So, what corporate and business communication trends are likely to be useful for brands and employees who wish to remain relevant in an evolving global market and workspace? What are the technologies and trends that will ensure that communicators are able to reach new audiences, can improve their customer service levels and efficiently engage with the next generation of employees and colleagues?
Augmented reality (AR) and Virtual reality (VR): Companies may use AR experiences to give higher caliber candidates a real taste of what it's like to work in the organisation. Or they can use VR to transport customers to new destinations to discover new facets of a company's product or operations. Now, and in the future, these two technologies are sure to grow in significance. They are not merely limited to creating games or novelty experiences. AR and VR can be used as invaluable tools in many business applications. For example, one could organize a virtual 3D tour for potential customers of an under construction or to-be-constructed facility, or a facility located far away. One could walk them through every step of a manufacturing and quality assurance process. And these are far from the only possible options for AR and VR, the imagination is the king, the sky is the limit.
Live Video Streaming: Consumers crave connection and brand authenticity. They need to see, feel, believe, in order to be brand loyal these days. The rise of live video streaming technology already allows companies to give people a taste of what they want. Studies show that Facebook Live videos are viewed more often, and for much longer than other content. Moving on to and enhancing live streaming and 360° videos will only cause a growth in this customer connectivity.
WebRTC: Web-based communication in real time (WebRTC) is a breakthrough concept allowing one to run a two way conversation or a video conference and collaborate from within the internet browser without having to install any other program, special plugins, modules or accompanying programs. This gives users an incredibly simple and non fuss tool to support all the needed types of remote communication: chat, screen sharing, content sharing, audio and video communication.
Social Intranets: while these are not a total novelty, innovation and advanced functionality are making them the trends of the moment. For example, intranets are increasingly providing support for video communication, allowing the merging of several chat rooms, and providing advanced opportunities for content exchange - all without compromising the basic quality of communication.
Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI based assistants, like Siri, function based on the voice requests of the users. They operate on the Chabot principle, and search through browsers and implement various kinds of processes within the functionality of a mobile device. Increasingly, software solutions based on AI are achieving qualitatively new levels and becoming capable of performing quite complex tasks. In 2017 the number of successful mobile applications which are based on machine learning and virtual neural networks have gone up significantly. In the future, apps such as these will increasingly be used for business purposes including remote communication. It is likely that users will be able to acquire full-fledged virtual assistants, who will take over some part of the duties of the real employees of today.
Increased Adoption of Hosted VoIP: There are currently almost one billion VoIP users around the world. The landline connections of the past are disappearing rapidly. VoIP in today's business world introduces many advantages including greater flexibility, enhanced control, and higher scalability. Digitizing telecommunications enables companies to host and maintain infrastructure in the cloud. The number of VoIP users is poised to increase exponentially. This is especially true of businesses leveraging Hosted VoIP which becomes an effective way to manage cost, improve flexibility, and gain far better control of communication systems. Offering cost savings and reduced maintenance needs hosted VoIP is set to become a popular trend of the future.
Increasing Shift Towards Mobility: Today's workforce is more mobile than ever. More and more employees are demanding flexible working conditions. From a business's perspective, workforce mobility is a major enabler of productivity. It allows companies to seek out talent without geographical limitations. Some studies seem to suggest that mobile or remote employees will make up as much as 75% of the US workforce by 2020. it is no surprise, then, that mobile VoIP is becoming entrenched in the modern digital culture. Smartphones and mobile and personal computing devices are set to play a very important role in the transition from an "office based" to a "web based" model of business. The need for tools that ensure productivity - no matter the location - demands that businesses make sure their employees are able to work using any personal device from any location.
Need for Seamless Communication and Collaboration Tools: The rise of cloud computing has become one of the key trends and drivers in modern communication. With web-based applications being the new norm in enterprise computing, employees are better able to collaborate -- working well together on the same projects, no matter where they may be located. Apart from platforms streamlining communication in the workplace, there is a need to support better collaboration within the office as well as remotely. To ensure this, more and more businesses are turning to newer web-based applications offering seamless communication. This is the reason why VoIP and related tools are increasingly coming to be integrated with key business processes. Office 365 for Business, for example, now provides complete integration with Skype.
Promotion of BYOD Strategy: The implementation of the IP telephony process had one significant drawback it did not allow employees or other people receiving communication to take the communication devices with them. To fix this in an increasingly mobile world, leading vendors of network equipment offer the integration of IP phones with the already owned mobile devices of users. It allows the phonebook to be transferred, automatically, to the user's smartphone, and to redirect calls and corporate email as well. This kind of integration is convenient and necessary for business organizations who have branches that operate in different time zones, for example. Networks based on this Bring Your Own Device technology allow companies to rent fewer offices and support personal user devices, instead, enabling employees to work remotely.
Integrating and Simplifying Communication Tools: Seamless integration between business applications streamline the business's coordination and collaborative needs. This can range from merging cloud-based functionality into computers, to installing apps that enable talk, chat, text, conferencing on mobile devices. Advancements in technology allow users to simplify mobile tools and streamline multiple communication platforms. In future, digital workspaces are only going to become more sophisticated, with greater focus on workplace flexibility as well as remote work options. A combination of cloud-based tools, along with unified communications, combined with web-based collaboration apps to integrate data and facilitate communication are all coming together. This will ensure productivity in the future, and encourage better teamwork.
Greater Adoption of Visual Communication: People learn and retain better when they can "see" the facts. Business leaders are realizing that visual communication must become one of the tools for business success in the future. Whether it is closing a deal, negating geographic boundaries and cultural differences, or holding conferences with far flung team members, businesses need to shift to a more visual mode. This can enable conferences to occur without the need for extended travel times and eliminate high travel and lodging expenses. This also allows for a faster and more retainable intake of impressions and facts - whether it is a client, a customer, or an employee.
Enhanced VoIP Security and Cyber-Security Spending: 2017 saw a lot of headline-grabbing news of cyber-attacks. Companies and individuals had their private information stolen, and destroyed, or held for ransom. Business owners must realise that it isn't just enterprise companies being targeted. More than 20% of cyber attack victims spent at least $50,000, and took longer than six months to recover from the attack, according to Nationwide's third annual survey of business owners. Gartner (NYSE: IT) projects that Cyber-Security spending is likely to increase to $93 Billion dollars in 2018 and increase steadily for the next 5 years. Security will continue to be a major issue, in the age of digital data where data is the most sought-after commodity globally. The increasing shift toward VoIP also presents unique security challenges. After all, internet-based communications are easier to breach than traditional landline conversations. Organizations will need to ensure additional security measures, including data encryption and 24/7 monitoring, by hosted VoIP vendors.
However, what do these Business Communication Trends mean for You as an employee, a future employee, a job seeker or a decision maker? It means you need to be aware and competent with the technologies behind these trends. Explore how a cloud-based tool can simplify communications for your prospective organization, if one is not already in use. Make sure you are abe to work efficiently from any device. Consider how available tools can be used optimally for more than one job - bring that to the interview table. Make sure - as a decision maker - that your office is equipped with dedicated spaces for in-person and virtual meetings, and brush up on the technology and the etiquette of being in one - as an employee. Learn how to use WebRTC and bring it to your organization - if not already present - so that employees can communicate more easily in real time. Make sure you learn how to find interoperable communications technologies and learn to connect endpoints to other devices and services. Consider how these business communication trends will affect your employability, retainability, and productivity, and plan how you will adjust and adapt.

Embracing Insane Success With Subliminal Audios

Rebuilding your mind and life with the focus of getting what you desire and want is a very rare goal for most people.
It almost doesn't fit that we should have to reprogram our entire minds and lives just because we picked up a few loose thoughts and habits while on this planet. Though it tends to be the case that we accidentally think and take up mental and emotional habits that literally do not serve us and that do not align with our highest good.
In some cases our minds and emotional lives are suffering because we have so much mental clutter and trash that we might find it difficult to focus and hone our concentration when it most counts.
That can create a very disastrous situation and series of regrettable moments where we want to think and meditate deeply on some ideas, but our brains are preventing us from getting anywhere because we forgot that we have mental and emotional hangups that cause us to feel and act oddly far too often.
We are not using subliminals in this case as a short term project just to see how they work.
They must be used in a way that both rebuilds our minds and reprograms the way we live on a daily basis, and that becomes natural when you start listening consistently and begin guiding your thoughts and mental world as a whole to very different mode of successful thinking.
That may not come so easily without using subliminals but this is a very energetic level of operation that we are asking our minds and brains to perform at.
If you want your mental engines to work more efficiently without the hassle and clutter of attempting to deal with your past problematic thoughts and emotions, then we need to start listening now rather than later and that applies to everyone who wants serious change.
The idea of becoming and growing far more successful over time might be elusive and a bit out of reach for some people, but we just have to step away from this thinking completely.
Embodying the idea of success and doing well in this life can be very easily within reach as long as we choose to embrace a far more productive mental and emotional life.
That does not necessarily mean that we all need to face intense discomfort and pain in order to help rebuild our lives and mental worlds, but it does require that we be open to intense and satisfying change as it unfolds in our lives as we listen more over time.

Be Free of Evaluations of Others

In almost every phase of our lives, at home, at school, and at work, we find ourselves under the rewards and criticism of external judgment. This is judgement for ourselves and of others.
Such judgments are part of our lives, seeing both the contrast, from birth to when we grow older. I believe a certain amounts of social intelligence is necessary.
'That's good!"
"Your wrong!"
"What a failure you are!"
Like most, I find myself all too often making such judgments and evaluation of others. However, in my experience, they do not make for my own personal growth. Hence, I do not believe these attitudes and judgments are helping me to create healthy relationships.
Curiously enough, a positive view in the long run can be as threatening is as a negative view of others
"You look amazing!"
"Congratulations, job well done!"
"Wow, what an amazing outcome, you surely are lucky!"
Judgments good or bad affect us
Since to know someone well, sometime our judgments of being kind can easily imply you also have the right to tell them they are bad.
We cannot see in another which is not within ourselves. For example, if you saw someone who was arrogant, how would you know this unless you have experienced it yourself. Similarly, the opposite, the good side, when we see the beauty in others. We are always seeing a projection of who we are onto others.
So, I have come to the conclusion and feel that the more I keep a relationship free of judgement and evaluation, the more I permit myself to reach a point where others will recognize the focus of evaluation, the center of responsibility, lies within ourselves. It always come from ourselves, where else we would know the difference.
The meaning and value of our experiences is, lastly, something which is up to each and everyone of us to see the truth within ourselves. No amount of external judgments can alter this.
Remember: we cannot see in other what does not lay within.
Taking another path
So, a I am working towards building relationships to which I am not, to,y own feelings, of see to understand my evaluations of other person. This I believe can set myself and others free to be a self-responsible, self-aware, and self- person.
Free from evaluation
If in my working with others, I am dealing with them as an ignorant, arrogant, immature attitude, what can be in this relationship.
I accept others as a process of becoming who I really am, endeavoring to see and make real everyone's potential.
Be grateful. accept and meet the other person who is also in the process of becoming. If not, will you be bound by your judgments.
Become an integrated person who in that moment knows so you both can have a deeply and dependable experience.

Peering Behind the Curtain

Before I went to church this morning I spent a little bit of time in front of the mirror. Now, I don't wear makeup and I don't do my hair. It is naturally curly and I keep it short. So I only had to spend a few moments in front of the mirror making sure everything was in place. It's not so much that I liked what I saw when I was done. It's just that I am a realist. I look like what I look like. Sure, I could lose some weight, and I could get some of the wrinkles fixed. I am working on the weight. But I don't think I will get a facelift anytime soon.
My guess is that the majority of people spend at least a little bit of time in front of a mirror on a daily basis. None of us wants to go out with our hair all wonky or with our clothes bunched up, or with something stuck in our teeth. So we primp and preen enough so that what we see is at least acceptable.
The thing is, although a mirror is supposed to be an accurate reflection of what is in front of it, we all filter what we see through our own lenses. Our eyes take in the sight, but our minds filter out what we don't want to see. Someone may be fatter than they allow themselves to believe. Someone may be shorter or taller than they'll admit to, and so on. Even if the mirror is perfectly formed, our minds will only let us see what we are willing to see.
This is true spiritually as well. There are four basic kinds of people in the world. Those that don't believe they even need a mirror, because they are perfect and happy already. There is a veil, a curtain, that blocks them from the truth and they don't even know it. Then there are those that don't want to look in the mirror because they are afraid of what they'll see. They know there is a veil and they like it that way. Further, there are those that look in the mirror but don't see the truth. They think the veil has been removed but it has not, so they are not seeing reality. And finally, there are those that look in the mirror and see actual reality. They know the veil has been removed. The curtain has been pulled back and they can see behind it. They are now seeing the world as it actually is. It would be great if we were all like the fourth group, but we know it's not true. The great news is that no one is stuck where they are. If they are willing, they can change at any time.
We should start out by reminding everyone that God Himself has already removed the curtain, and every single person on earth is capable of seeing actual reality, if they want to. We are told in Matthew 27:51 that when Jesus yielded up His Spirit the veil (curtain) of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. I find it remarkable that the veil was not torn from the bottom up. But no, God Himself tore it from top to bottom.
The veil was a very heavy curtain within the temple in Jerusalem, and it separated the people from the most holy place, the place where God Himself dwelt. His holiness had to be kept separate from the people, and a priest could only go in there once a year after making sacrifices for his own sins (Lev. 16:3; Heb. 9:7). But Jesus came to change all that. His once-for-all sacrifice on the cross was enough to eliminate the veil so that all can freely come to God and find salvation and forgiveness in Him. Now they can look into the mirror without fear or condemnation.
However, the first group of people I have mentioned above is a group that simply doesn't believe they need a mirror (or they won't admit they need one). They are still fully behind the veil and they either don't know it, or they don't want to know it (or they just don't care). In their minds they are all set. They don't need to see anything else, and they don't want to.
Many are currently in a place where they just don't care about spiritual things. But others of them are more militant. They will shout down anyone trying to oppose them. Some will go so far as to try and force opposing voices to affirm their sin. I believe that they do this because their consciences bother them. In their hearts they believe that if they can just get Christians and/or conservative voices to affirm their sin then they'll feel better about themselves. It is not true, but they believe it anyway.
Christians and other conservative voices must not affirm their sin. But we must continue to love them and pray for them. Jesus told His disciples not to give what was holy to the dogs, nor cast their pearls before swine (Mt. 7:6). In other words, if they aren't interested in the truth then we should not waste our time trying to give it to them. But we should love them and pray diligently that God will "open the eyes of their heart" (Eph. 1:18) so that they will one day be able to hear the truth.
The second group of people are those that are aware of their own sin, but would rather not face it. I am reminded of two Bible stories from the wilderness wanderings of the Israelites. You see, after Moses led the Israelites from Egypt, while they were still in the wilderness, God spoke to them from the mountain (Ex. 20:19). But His booming voice terrified the people. So they begged Moses to go and talk to God, and then come tell them what He said. Moses complied and spoke to God himself, face to face (Ex. 33:11). At one point, after speaking with God, Moses' face began to shine. So he covered it with a little veil. The people seemed content with this, too. It appeared that they weren't interested in getting close enough to God's glory to have their sin highlighted.
Many people today are just like that. They are aware of their need for a savior. But for whatever reason, they simply will not draw near. It scares them and they stay away. Or they worry that their sin is too big. They don't want to face whatever it is, so they seem content to remain outside the veil. They are aware of the veil, but rather than being a hindrance, it is a comfort. We must pray that we can reach them with the good news that God can forgive every and all sins. There is no reason to fear seeing themselves in the mirror without any veil covering it.
The third group of people are deceived. They believe the veil has been removed, but they either don't fully understand, or don't want to understand what it means to live in Christ after the veil has been removed.
I am reminded of the many hundreds and thousands of Jews that continued to sacrifice at the temple, even after the veil was torn in two. They completely missed the point and went on with their lives the way they were, thinking that they were okay. God destroyed the temple in A.D. 70 and disbursed them, effectively ending the sacrifices, but still today they long for the old days to return. They have completely missed the point of what Jesus has done for them.
They are hundreds, maybe thousands of people who think that they are Christians simply because they were raised in a Christian household. And there are many more who are worshipping under a false religion. They believe they are saved and have everything they need. They are still under the veil and don't even realize it. We must pray for their eyes to be opened as well, and for the truth to come shining through to their hearts, piercing the darkness that still holds them captive.
Finally, we come to group four. These are those that know they need a savior. They know that God has removed the veil for them and they are forever grateful. They are willing to look into the mirror and see the truth about their own sin. But they also see that they have been clothed with Christ. They look into the mirror knowing that they must daily re-clothe themselves, and recommit, and reconnect because they are sinful at heart. They understand their own depravity but are not afraid to face it. They are not deceived into thinking they can save themselves. They already know they cannot. So they look in the mirror and confess their sin and clothe themselves with Christ, and then go out into the world in confidence and joy, doing the works that God has prepared for them.
The question we must ask then, is which group do you find yourself in? If you're not in group four, then are you willing to admit your sin and your need for a savior? Are you willing to gaze in an unveiled mirror? God can forgive every sin, and there is no condemnation in Him. He simply wants us to admit we need Him, and He will do the rest. Are you willing?
Dr. Norita Sieffert has been writing and speaking for more than three decades, leading people into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and challenging them to be all they can be for God. Not The Scarecrow Ministries strives to teach people the truth claims of Christianity and show how Christianity is relevant to every facet of life.

Meditation, Visualization And Manifestation

A lot of people adopt meditation techniques to relax and keep themselves stress-free. They are now gradually realizing the significance of meditation activities in their daily life. Even doctors accept and recommend it as a good way to treat certain health disorders as also a way to maintain a healthy life.
Meditation activities are now widely carried out as a simple exercise though it requires time and practice to master it. With regular practice, one can perfect the art and make it a daily ritual. Through patience and consistent practice, it is very easy to master this technique. You will, however, need to build your powers of visualization to perfect the art of meditation.
Visualization is an art commonly used by more or less every person without being aware of it. Generally, children are very quick in seeing and remembering certain things when they notice something. Grown-ups need to concentrate more as their mind is always clustered with so many other things, that they sometimes are not able to concentrate their mind on one object at a given time. Visualisation plays a very important role in the art of mediation. Therefore, you must learn to master the art of visualization before you finally become a meditation expert.
Though visualization can be easily mastered, some individuals need to really struggle to learn this. Practice is the only means through which you can master the visualization.
You can perform a very simple exercise to become perfect at visualization. All you have to do is just pick any one of the many objects lying in your house and place it on a table with no other thing on it. Now, concentrate by looking at the object for a few minutes and make an effort to identify the fine details and try to remember them. After this close your eyes and try to imagine the same object in your mind. Try to frame a mental picture of the object with as many things you remember having seen. Try to also mentally experience the feel of the object and your own mental or emotional feelings about the object. Did you enjoy or feel stressed out?
Next, pay attention to a new object after clearing the details of the previous one. Repeat the same procedure and again find out how much you are able to succeed in this experiment. Always concentrate and pay close attention to all the relevant information about an object. After completion, you realize that there were few missing links or substance while recalling the object's details with your imagination.
Visualization can be sometimes quite stressful for beginners but they should keep trying instead of worrying and giving up. These stressful feelings will soon die out and you can perform visualization related exercises with full ease.
So, just keep practicing and master the visualization technique to help you become better at meditation and manifest abundance in all aspects of your life. Be it health, wealth or love.

Timely Tips for Stepping Away From Perfectionism

Perfectionism's roots often lie in early childhood. Today I invite you to explore those roots as you begin to reduce your perfectionism using these 5 friendly tips.
We'll start by looking more closely at the verbal and nonverbal messages you received growing up. That will help you take the next step, as you identify the hidden agendas that sabotage you. These insights, in turn, free you to start replacing those undermining messages and agendas with clear intentions and supportive self-talk!
1. What Perfectionist Messages Were You Given as a Child?
Think back to when you were young and first experienced pressures to be perfect. What explicit, spoken messages did you receive about being perfect? List them, then ask yourself the following:
·         Who delivered these messages?
·         What was your response?
·         What patterns, springing from those days, do you continue in your adult life?
2. What Nonverbal Perfectionist Messages Influenced You?
What actions did you witness as a child that spurred your desire to be perfect? Was perfectionism modeled by important people in your life? Were you trying to compensate for some lack with perfection?
·         Describe what you observed and experienced.
·         How did you feel?
·         In what ways do you perpetuate this in your adult life?
Now, step back and appreciate the insights that you are opening yourself to. What lessons are you learning about the things that triggered your early desire to be "perfect"? Notice how, when you look at those ancient messages now, you can see just how outdated they are. This undercuts their power over you in the present!
3. Use Your Powers of Logic to Reduce Perfectionism.
You can overcome perfectionist paralysis with logical questions. The next time you say, "But it's still not perfect," ask yourself:
·         What would be perfect?
·         How would an impartial observer describe the project right now?
·         What does this tell you?
Perfectionism paralyzes, undermining your ability to move forward. No matter how essential your excessive standards might seem, they actually prevent you from achieving your potential.
So the next time you feel immobilized by perfectionism, use logic to create a positive foundation to move from.
4. Reclaim Your Power by Naming Your Hidden Agendas.
Self-defeating behaviors that stubbornly resist change often mask hidden agendas. Perhaps your strong desire to be perfect protects an illusion. Deep down, you might believe that "perfection" protects you from criticism. Or maybe focusing on tiny details helps you avoid challenges that feel scary. Of course, this illusion of safety comes at a steep price!
However, if the unreachable goal of perfection manifests in your life, it's probably because you thought it would somehow help you. Now you can claim the power to choose productivity and proactive strength rather than illusory and impossible perfection.
5. 3 Simple Questions Expose Hidden Agendas.
Ready to zero in on your hidden agendas? The ones that propel you toward perfectionism in your life today? Here are 3 questions that will help you uncover your unrealistic standards and create a path to move beyond the illusion of perfection. Remember to remain compassionate as you explore your answers. Your goal is to liberate yourself, not judge yourself!
1.     What are you trying to cover up by being perfect?
2.     What challenges do you face when you don't cover up?
3.     What benefits come from meeting these challenges with realism and resourcefulness?
Give yourself a few minutes to answer each question. What patterns do you discover?
Just look at all you've uncovered and learned. In childhood, you did your best to keep yourself safe. Now, invite yourself to stretch. As you leave perfectionism behind and explore brave new vistas, think of all you'll find!

What Are the Warning Signs of a Layoff and How to Prepare?

As you are driving off to work, you leave your home and the worries of home. You are apprehensive about finances and other day to day problems. At the same time you are not happy on your way to office. Something seems a bit off in your mind, a kind of gut feeling you have.
What can it be? At the back of your mind you are feeling uneasy.
While you are not too kicked about another stressful day at work, at least you have a job to go to, and a regular - and welcome - paycheck that takes care of a large chunk of the bills and outgoings.
You try to shake off the feeling of gloom and doom. But there is a niggling doubt in your mind. Did your good friend not suddenly get the pink slip?
But this does not stop the shiver of fear you that get. Being without a job is not an option. You simply can't do without the paycheck.
The stress levels rise as you try to console yourself that this not going to happen to you.
Why should it?
But the dread is there and you really don't know if today will be the day that your worst fears will be realized.
Instead of looking forward to getting time off from work, you are only swamped with worries as to how you will make ends meet if it really does happen.
After all, time off from work is only welcome when you know that there is work to go back, even if you do bitch about your busy schedule and often wish for some time off.
What will you do if that happens to you?
Instead of worrying and increasing your stress levels, is it not better to be prepared if this really happens and explore the possibilities?
Having a Plan B in place is always better.
The first thing to do is to look for warning signs.
What Are The Early Warning Signs Of An Impending Layoff?
You like to go to office, complete your work and go home - there is enough to keep you busy in both places. You really don't like to indulge in office politics or spend time gossiping.
In any case, you don't have time on your hands.
What if you suddenly are not as busy as you used to be?
If you have always been swamped with work and the work is tapering off, initially you may be happy with a reduced work load. But this is actually a red flag.
The fact that your work has decreased means that company may be going through a downturn.
You hear chatter.
While you do not mix too much with office staff, you hear rumors about things happening. People are getting transferred or there is a possibility of pay cuts.
There are seemingly important people coming in groups and there are many meetings. If there are unexpected meetings between department and company heads and outsiders - and these are not usual sales or marketing conferences - there may be a merger or acquisition on the horizon.
You hear words like reorganization, downsizing, restructuring, streamlining, off-shoring, cost-cutting, rebalancing and other words are bandied about.
If you feel unsettled as do others, you can be sure that you are picking up signs that something is happening.
Don't just live in dread - do something about it. Proactive steps always help. When you are actually doing something, you will also quell that unsettled feeling and be relieved that you are taking steps to find out more and have a plan in place instead of being taken by surprise.
Some Of The Signs Signaling Possible Job Cuts
With companies and stores shutting down left, right and center, you may well wonder if your company is next and if you may be laid off.
When any company or business shuts, people are jobless. If you watch out for things that signal work problems you will be mentally and financially prepared.
Here are some signs of impending layoffs:
• No jobs available on a job list that was current till recently - your company probably has an internal job-list either online or on the notice board. If there were vacancies that were expected to be filled, but weren't, and the job list has disappeared, it is a sign of reorganization or layoffs.
• Higher echelon executives leaving - when junior bosses are in talks and meetings or are simply laid off, the signs are clear that the company is restructuring or closing down. In more reorganizations, some employees are shown the door.
• Many closed door meetings and conferences - if there are an unusually large number of closed door meetings and you don't know what is happening, it should be a definite red flag, particularly when combined with other signals.
• The company's is not in good financial health - there is a freeze on hiring, payments are not happening on time and the company is beset by creditors, you should be wary.
• Growth is stagnant - many industries go through cyclical downturns, but if growth is not happening along projected lines and this continues, the company may be on the verge of downsizing or shutting down.
• There is a possibility of a merger or acquisition - it is not necessary that the company will shut down completely, but if its merged with another or acquired by a larger corporation, you can bet that some jobs will be lost thanks to restructuring.
• There are high level consultants who come in and want financial and other details of the company to see if they can help - when the cavalry is called in to troubleshoot, you should take it as a warning sign that things are not going well.
• Cost cutting on even petty expenses - all businesses have some petty cash on hand for small expenses, When this money dries up and is not replenished you should take it as a sign that something is serious.
• The industry that your company works in is experiencing a downturn - there are many sunshine sectors that seem to be going up. At the same time there are many industries that experience significant downturns (finance, auto, housing, brick and mortar stores, entertainment hubs, restaurants and food places for example) and whether your company is a small player or a big one, it may not survive.
• The shares of the company (if it is publicly listed) are lower priced - for publicly listed companies check the high and low yearly prices of the shares. Listen to the business news once in a while at least and hear the chatter. You will learn how the company is actually doing.
• There is talk of outsourcing manufacturing or work - when labor of any kind is outsourced to a cheaper destination or something that was earlier done in-house is now outsourced, it is a cost-cutting exercise. It is entirely possible that your job may be at risk.
• Your company is shifting to a smaller or cheaper office - if it is simply not a question of higher rent, it means that the company is not making enough money. And if it cannot afford the rent or other outgoings, can it afford to keep you?
• Constant repetitive phone calls from creditors - this may happen in smaller offices and if there are too many unpaid bills or phone calls or even personal visits from creditors and bill collectors and there is no money to pay them, this should definitely raise your hackles.
• The annual review is due - but this is postponed indefinitely. If the company is planning layoffs, it obviously does not want to increase its outgoings.
• You are not getting enough or more work.
These may be small signs, but keeping your ears to the ground will stand you in good stead and help prepare you better for a potential layoff.
How Can You Find Out More About The Financial Health Of The Company?
While you can ask around - and you should try that out, though discreetly - you can also find out for yourself. The process is different for a public limited company that is listed on the stock exchange and a privately-held one.
For a private company you really need to pay attention to what is happening around you and keep your eyes and ears open.
While you do that, you can also ask your co-workers in sales and marketing how work is going and if they are able to meet their targets regularly. You can learn a lot from this kind of conversation because they may well tell you if there is a business slow-down.
Don't forget to ask your friends and colleagues in accounting and finance if all is well and if the company is doing okay.
If your company has stock or inventory you can also ask how fast it is being replenished and how it is moving. When there is a slow-down there may be a great deal of inventory that is not moving.
In case you are really worried, there is really no harm in asking your immediate boss about the financial health of the company.
You can also check the monthly or quarterly summaries of the company's performance if you have access to them.
If the company is in financial distress you will notice that there are budget cut-backs, but if the company is flush there may be new hires and expansion.
In case there is an announcement of perks and bonuses being reduced, you should understand that the company is facing financial problems.
If bosses higher up the food chain are busy in too many meetings or your immediate boss, who has always been accessible, suddenly seems too busy, you will get the feeling that something is amiss.
If there are many hush-hush meetings with corporate heads or even outsiders, you should wonder if there is some restructuring or reorganization round the corner or even a sell-out or merger that may impact your job.
You do need to put two and two together if there are signs of something happening that does not bode well for you. And don't ignore your gut feeling.
If you need to find out about the financial health of a publicly held company, you can do most of the above, but also use your head and do some investigation.
Accounts and balance-sheets of a public company are usually listed and often available online.
You don't have to spend hours listening to business news channels, but simply run a search for video and podcasts by analysts regarding the company you work for. And then listen to what they have to say. You can even do this on your commute to and from work from your phone.
You will usually be able to hear their recommendations as well - if the stock is a buy for investment, then you will be reassured that the company should do well. If the recommendation is to sell or short the stock, then the company is experiencing a downturn.
You can check online, and financial sites will also give you a great deal of information. Here you will also come to know if the sector is facing a slump (which would impact the company's earning potential and stock price).
If you find balance sheets and other information difficult to read and interpret you can ask for help from friends and colleagues who can help you with a summary of the findings. After all, reading and understanding a balance sheet and going through the fine print and technical terms is not everyone's cup of
How Can You Financially And Emotionally Prepare For A Possible Layoff?
When you depend on your paycheck to meet expenses, the prospect of not having a job is scary. Being financially prepared for such a possibility will help a great deal and reduce the emotional and psychological stress as well.
It's all about money - and when you don't have it, it really hurts. If you have not been wise enough to save at least a little bit of money every month, it is not too late to start. Don't wait for joblessness before you start cutting corners. Budget and stick to your budget as far as possible and keep some aside for a rainy day, too.
Is there any possibility of a severance packet? Some companies offer you a package when you are laid off, though this may not be mandatory. Some companies have a notice period that you have to serve in case you want to leave and this often applies when the company has to lay you off as well. Check company policy regarding this.
Is the company offering help in finding another job? When many large organizations have mass layoffs, they may hire consultants who will help you in the transition period and find new jobs as well or guide you as to how best you can do so.
Some companies also help with emotional and psychological counseling. Don't think you don't need it - talking to people helps open your mind to other possibilities as well.
If push comes to shove, knowing the fine details is of great help. Check how much compensation you may be entitled to - are you going to get compensated for unutilized leaves or holiday times, travel and other company expenses you may have coming to or other money that the company owes you.
Will the company give you references? No matter how long you have worked for a company, you should get references and a letter or certificate saying how long you have worked for the company as this will be a big help to get another job.
Make sure your resume is in order. Update your resume, listing any new skills or experience and responsibilities you have accumulated in the course of your work. If you can afford it have a professional redo your resume.
Network online and on the phone. LinkedIn and other social media often list jobs and you can also reach out to other professional groups and to your friends and family and even ex-colleagues -- you never know when something will open up. And don't just look for similar job, but be open to new opportunities related to your expertise and experience.
Are you eligible for unemployment benefits? It is possible that you may be entitled to get benefits from the state during the period that you are unemployed. While this may not be a lot of money, every little bit helps and there is no loss of dignity to get these benefits from the state. It will tide over the monetary crisis you will face.
In case you have credit card debt, seek out ways to reduce your payments. You can consider either balance transfer cards or get a loan from a credit card consolidation company at a lower interest rate, reducing your outgoings.
While you may have your finances in order and have some money tucked away if you have saved for a rainy day, the actual emotional and psychological impact of a job loss is a different matter.
If only a few people have been laid off and you are one of them, you may be wracked with guilt. Did you do enough to stay on the job? Were you not simply good enough that the company could not keep you? You may well feel grief, helplessness and despair apart from guilt.
You are not alone. Research shows that job loss can result in anxiety, loss of self-esteem, depression and even impact physical health in the form of headaches, backaches, tummy disorders, difficulty sleeping and more.
After all your job gives you a daily routine, gives your day structure, improves your self-confidence, gives you a sense of self-worth and makes you feel like a contributing member of society. When you lose your job, all these aspects are affected. It also keeps you very busy.
What can you do to get over these feelings?
While it would easy to wallow in guilt and self-blame it is not really productive to do so. You can take a couple of days as a time-off, but more than that will only cause more damage to your self-worth and confidence. It will also show up as a gap in your resume.

Here are some things you can do to get going:
Decide that you need to have a structure to your days. If you are not working, you will have a lot of free time, so do something constructive. Apart from a job search and sending resumes and networking, take this as an opportunity to do more.
If you have been putting off cleaning or other chores, now is the time to get to them. Don't procrastinate. Cleaning and clearing physically also helps calm you down and de-clutter your mind. It can enable you to get rid of emotional baggage as well.
Make a routine and start going to the gym or doing some regular exercise, particularly if you have not been doing so while working.
Eat healthier instead of relying on pre-cooked or pre-frozen meals that may have been part of your life.
Consider doing a short course or even an online course to sharpen your skills and add to your resume. Or you can follow your passion and look for short-term gigs online that will help keep busy and also be of financial help.
Keep a positive attitude and treat each day as a new one with a fresh opportunity.
While you are busy looking for another job, it is also helpful to have some perspective. If you feel it is time for a change, look for opportunities in other fields.
You never know - losing a job may be the best thing that has happened to you. You will get other offers and this phase is only temporary. Don't forget every cloud has a silver lining.
